Hello, I am Athena! I came to Minnesota with my momma and 9 siblings. My brave Mom had us on her own outside in Alabama and she hid us in a hole under a shed to keep us safe! Some wonderful people rescued us and we all came to Minnesota together when we were 10 days old. We have lived in a foster home ever since! My Momma and some of my siblings have found their forever families and I can't wait to find mine too!I'm the smallest of all the puppies but don't count me out. I have dark brindle fur and a hint of blue in my eyes. I don't mean to brag but almost everyone that has visited has said they want to keep me! I'm cute, smart and playful. And I'm most likely to be cuddled in your lap. I love people and I love to cuddle. When I'm outside I like to bound around, explore and play.I am learning so much in my foster home! We are working on litter box and potty pad training. My foster Mom says this will help me do a great job with housetraining! I sleep quietly all night and am so excited to see my foster family in the morning! We are learning tricks here and I have the cutest little ""sit""! I'm a smart puppy and am excited to learn more. I should also mention I am good with other dogs, there is a big dog that lives here and I love to try and play with him! I am having a lot of fun in my foster home but I'm ready to meet my forever family, I hope it's you!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spay/neuter before adoption unless age is a factor with a puppy younger than 6-12 months at the time of adoption. If that is the case, the spay/neuter will be covered in the adoption fee and the owner will be responsible to have the procedures completed at a Warrior Dog Rescue Veterinarian at the appropriate time.Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
