WafflesYes, my name is Waffles. No, you can't eat me. Especially not with butter or syrup! I am fluffy and sweet, though. Quite irresistible, in fact. My secret ingredient is this cute little face with these sad eyes. But I'm not actually sad! When this photo was taken, I had a condition called entropion which caused my eyelid to turn inward, so my eyelashes were rubbing against the surface of my eye. Ouch! I got lucky when I was brought to the shelter as a stray kitty because the Vet Staff performed surgery on my eyelid and fixed the problem. So, I'm not in pain anymore and much happier now. Just wait until you see me! Once I'm all healed, I'll be ready for my forever home. In the meantime, I'll be spending some time in foster care. I'm only 2-years-old, so I have a long life ahead of me to enjoy with my future family. We'll have so much fun together, and I'll even share my waffle recipe with you! 8-9-23
