Contact foster at XXXX@gmail.comAvena is affectionate, playful, sometimes timid, and smart! She is good on a leash, housebroken, knows sit, and takes treats nicely. She’s well behaved and has been left to roam freely in the house without issue. Avena has a good amount of energy, but not necessarily high energy. We get by with a walk, toys, chew time, and play time with my dog throughout the day. She would do best in an active home. She absolutely loves wrestling with and chasing her foster brother and she showers him with kisses every chance she gets. Avena plays well with another female dog her size as well. She barks and jumps around a lot at first so her initial greetings need work, but once she calms down she plays nicely and responds to direction from humans and the other dog during her interactions. Avena is working on a few things like jumping, “no licks”, and digging in the yard. She is also scared of being in her crate or taking a ride in the car. She has not been loud or destructive in these situations so she will likely improve over time with practice and consistent training. Adorable Avena is extremely adoptable!!
