08/31/23 12:31 took Evie out to the play yard for pictures and video. She is just terrified of any contact but not aggressive. It was difficult to put the leash on her as she hid in the back and laid on the floor with her chin, all the way down. Once the leash was on, I still had to help pick her up to move her. She was just frozen in fear. Took her to the yard and let her go wander but she just went to a corner and laid down again. I left her alone hoping she would get up and move around the yard. When I came back, about 10 minutes later, she was still in the same position. I tried treats and toys but nothing worked or moved her. I gave her a little more time and then carried her back to her kennel. In her kennel, she is extremely active, jumping and barking. Spilling her water and dumping her food but once the kennel door opens, she shuts down. Needs time to learn trust.
