Lexi is oh so beautiful! She's about 4 years old, weighs about 70 lbs and is a beautiful dark sable and she has very expressive eyes as you can see from her pics! She is a real sweetheart. She just wants to stay by her people and she follows her foster mom all around a couple of acres never losing sight of her.Lexi is the dog version of a Mensa member! Very intelligent, thinks everything through and sometimes outsmarts her foster mom! She has endless curiosity and confidence and wants to help with anything you're doing, either outside or inside. She appears to be of European lines so loves to be involved and have something to think about although she can chill out both inside and outside. Lexi has been great with her foster's almost two year old Shepherd who is pure energy aka the pest - always chewing on her and encouraging her to play. She's totally willing and will match his play style whether it's chasing, wrestling, tugging on a rope or just letting him maul her neck (his favorite form of play). And...she can get the zoomies just on her own! That said, she takes breaks to go back to her foster mom for back scratches and time outs to regroup before starting up with him again. Lexi appears to be cat workable, having shown no aggression to the senior inside only cat at her foster home - interested yes, but no bad intentions.Lexi will do well in a home that knows how to work with a very intelligent shepherd who has, at times, her own agenda. Lexi has good manners in the house, is definitely house trained and has a bright curious mind checking out every (like EVERY) statue, yard art or ? she sees. She has no fear she just has to see what they're all about. She even notices the radio and TV when passing through the living room! She gets really happy when meeting someone new and may jump for the first minute but then settles immediately and just hangs out with everyone. She really wants to please. If you scratch her back or rub her belly she's in seventh heaven and will just totally be in the moment. She even enjoys garden hose baths!An experienced Shepherd owner is a must for this bright girl.This girl is going to be a wonderful addition to some fortunate family!She bonds quickly and loves attention.Lexi be waiting with my foster mom in Auburn.
