Are you looking for the Apple to your eye? Well here she is! Apple came to us on 8/6 as a stray that was wandering around Philadelphia alone. Her finders noted that she was nervous / shy around new people. They also stated she was playful but nervous around other animals. Apple is a very sweet girl who would do best in a home who will take things at her pace and doesn't mind a velcro dog- as Apple LOVES to be next her people and takes comfort in being next to you. Another thing that makes apple even more sweet? She has had great dog meets with other canine friends at the shelter so she may enjoy the companionship of another dog in a home! Notes from her shelter friends: (8/29) Per volunteer: Just want to add some behavior notes for my girl Apple! I had her out during her first days at ACCT and she's grown SO much since then. Even though she was shy then, I saw changes within a couple days. I saw her Sunday at the photo shoot, out with another volunteer and she came right up to me and Gloria with no fear. Took treats from me and did great at the photoshoot with many strangers ( which can be overwhelming for shy dogs). I took her out later in the day and no concerns except she wanted to stay outside and quit on me but, allowed all handling to lift her back inside kennel.
