CROCKETT is a lively, handsome, playful goofball. This boy loves to run and play. He's probably 1-1.5 years old and fully grown at 27 pounds with a gorgeous medium-length coat. He's a mixed breed boy, we strongly suspect there's some Puggle (Pug and Beagle) in his family tree, the rest is anyone's guess. He has that curly pug tail. Crockett is a very silly boy. He can entertain himself (and you) with a toy -- throw it, shake it, wrestle it, repeat. Crockett is good with people of all ages, great with other dogs and fine with cats. He's housebroken and crate trained. Crockett is best suited to a home with another playful dog and a physically-fenced yard. If you'd like to meet Crockett, please fill out a dog adoption application. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Crockett at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
