Our lovely Rosie has had a rough start to life, and she cannot wait to find her forever home here in New England! Rosie is a 1 year and 8 months old terrier mix with a beautiful black and white coat and soulful brown eyes. She is a large dog at 69 lbs.Rosie was rescued by our partner rescue in Mississippi. She was originally found abandoned at an elementary school as a mom with her litter of puppies. She then had to be treated for heartworm, so she was unable to travel with her pups. Now, Rosie has finally given a clean bill of health and was able to travel to Connecticut to become a Dog Star!Rosie gets along well with children over 5 years of age, other dogs, and has met cats. She is a medium-energy pup, who would enjoy lots of playtime and lots of cuddles! Rosie is fully trained on her leash, and house training. She is currently working on her crate training. It is important to remember that although she is house trained, accidents can happen while adjusting to a new home environment. Rosie will appreciate your care, patience, and love as she adjusts to her new home and finds her place in your family!Rosie is a beautiful, sweet pup who deserves a wonderful, loving home. If you think that might be you, Rosie cannot wait to meet you!The adoption fee for Rosie is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue, and transport fees.
