DESCRIPTION: Major was surrendered to the rescue when his family could no longer provide him with the time, attention, and care that they knew he deserved. Recognizing that Major would thrive in a household that could meet the needs of a young shepherd, they surrendered him to our care. We promised that we would find Major the perfect match so that he could move forward. Major is a stunning and intelligent guy. Young, playful, and energetic, he is looking for a family that will help him meet with success. Major's family will need to provide him with daily exercise for both his mind and his body. This will help him burn some of his puppy-like energy as well as help him use his mind productively. As is true of all shepherds, Major is looking for a forever family that will provide him with the structure, routine, and leadership that he needs to thrive. Training will go a long way with this boy. Not only will training help him develop a strong and healthy bond with his family, but it will also help him grow into a stable and confident adult. Having spent most of his life living outside, Major's new family will have to teach him what it is to live in a home.
