I'm Tobie. I'm a loveable, goofy, sweet, 4 ½-year-old hound mix, and I weigh 86 pounds. My humans LOVE me, and I love them too. But my home life isn't good for me and, to be honest, I'm pretty miserable. I need to live someplace where my skills are appreciated and where I have room to run and play. I'm a country dog, but we didn’t understand that when my humans brought me home. I have great watchdog skills. I alert my family when someone is too close to our space with big booming barks. I'm great with varmint control too. I chase anything I see–groundhogs, rabbits, possums, cats, snakes, and more. Catching critters is an important skill and I’m downright talented. My humans are very afraid I will eat their elderly cat. (They are right, I will if I get the chance!) I’ve also discovered that there is lots of adventure outside my gate and my humans are having trouble keeping me safe because we live on a busy road with a lot of cars zooming by. I need a safer space to live.
