Look at this beautiful girl - Daisy is a white lab mix. She is perfect age of 5 1/2 years old and a nice medium-size dog at 46 pounds. After living with her family in Memphis for 4 years , we learned that Daisy was going to be euthanized by her owner because she had horrible skin and ear infections — all due to allergies. Our hearts broke for her, as she was truly miserable and didn’t deserve to die because her health had been neglected for years. Daisy was surrendered to our vet, and her journey to wellness began. After several rounds of antibiotics, steroids, and weekly medicated baths, Daisy is completely healed! She also had a dental, so her teeth and gums are healthy! She received the Pro-Heart 12 shot, which protects her from heart worms for a year. She craves interaction with people! She loves all people, including children. For the last 4 years, she lived with a family that had 5 children but because she gets overstimulated a home with children age 7 and over is best. She just spent time at a trainers to see how she was with dogs and well the photos speak for themselves! She was running and playing after slow and proper introductions. She also was with a cow, goats and babies! It was reported by previous owner that she is good with cats but not all cats like her. We think dog savvy cats who understand her wanting to play and love them. Note: She will likely need to take a daily allergy medicine for the rest of her life to keep her allergies in check. It’s also possible just living in New England will help her allergies!
