This handsome tangerine tabby knows how to strike a pose to lure you in for cuddles.With Chewbi, what starts as a quick head pat can quickly escalate into a 20-minute snuggle session if you’re not careful. And at 16 pounds, it's not easy to get up once he’s on your lap! But don’t worry, Chewbi is quite talkative and will keep you entertained with his conversation skills.As much as he enjoys cuddles, Chewbi can take care of himself when you’re busy. Content to nap most of the day, he plays in short bursts and loves chasing toys on strings. Chewbi is sensitive to change and can be a bit feisty in new environments, but with a bit of patience you’ll find him warming up to you in no time. He also has medication that can be given in food to help manage stress as needed. If you've got other feline family members, Chewbi has lived with cats in the past and would likely do well with them after careful introduction. He tolerates being picked up but prefers to be in control of physical contact, and he can get a little spooked by sudden, loud noises. A home with adults or older teens who have experience with cats and are good at respecting boundaries would be ideal to give this big guy all the love he deserves.Overall, Chewbi is in good health, but he should be seen by a full-service vet for dental work in the near future.
