Meet Maddie. She came to us with a broken pelvis that required a full leg amputation, but she is now healing up great and learning to adapt to life as a tripod! She is currently living in foster care with other dogs of all sizes, and is the sweetest girl despite her difficult past. Once her leg is healed, she shouldn't require any special treatment--just a family who is willing to accept her physical differences. If you would like to be considered for the adoption of a dog or puppy, please follow the steps below and submit an application through our independent process (Petfinder “matchmaking” emails are not part of our process and we are unable to respond to them). If you have questions you must reach out to us as we do not have the capacity to individually contact all applicants. You may call 559-393-XXXX between 6PM and 9PM if you have additional questions AFTER SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. We hold adoption events at Petsmart San Jose every Saturday starting at 11am, and most of our adoptable dogs can be met by appointment at these events.
