Darrell, and he knows his name, Darrell, with no middle name, is one of those puppies that is big for his age, but he isn't a bully. In fact, my 9 pound chihuahua keeps him in line. He is 16 weeks old now, 32 pounds, so he will be a big, lab size dog. He thinks he is fast, and nimble and graceful and zippy and dashy, but he isn’t! He is growing, and is a bit clumsy, and hasn't figured out how to control all of those legs, and those big feet, especially downhill, or if there is a bump in the road. That's ok, he can get by on his good looks. Darrell also gives good hugs.You might not believe this, but in the month that I have fostered him, he has not once jumped up on me. What? I have never had a puppy like that. And my chihuahua has showed him how to do it a million times. He knows sit, and has great recall when you say touch! Darrell is ready for his furever home! He would like a dog his size to play with and someone that is home to keep him company and to take him out to potty. Someone that will make room for him on the couch, and someone that will bend down to give him a hug.Darrell enjoys going out and about, has met several neighbors and their dogs, and he was friendly. He is an easy going boy, medium energy, who loves a good walkie, but can kick back and watch some tv too!
