Lucy is about 3 years old. She is a calm mellow kitty but also enjoys her toys. She loves her foster dad and even met the small dogs in the home and did well. Lucy is a very sweet 'Torbie' (Tortoiseshell & Tabby mix). She is approx. 2-3 years old. She was found by a good Samaritan roaming around a Laguna Niguel neighborhood for several weeks in March during the coldest rainiest days and nights starving looking for food and shelter. Lucy loves spending time with her people whether it is playing or just relaxing on the couch. She loves looking out the window watching birds and squirrels. She's a very mellow kitty with bursts of energy at times doing zoomies around the house. She would do best in a quiet home. She is good with small to medium size calm dogs. Lucy gets around great, is very interactive and likes to play with toys. But shortly after having her for a while, Lucy's foster mom noticed she seemed a bit more clumpsy than other kitties she's had in the past. She also felt her vision was a bit off, She went to see a Neurologist for a consult to make sure all was well. The neurologist said she has some generalized Ataxia at times, basically her balance and coordination are occassionally off. They also said her pupil position is off slightly which could explain her minor issues misjudging jumps mostly at night time... The neurologist advised us to monitor her for any changes and recommended a yearly check up otherwise. They were not overly concerned and did not recommend any other diagnostics or testing.
