When Tank first arrived, he was very shutdown and nervous of shelter life. However, with patience and love from our staff, he has slowly started to come out of his shell and show a sweeter side.Tank is still a bit reserved and timid, but he has made great strides in gaining confidence and trust. He enjoys spending time with his human friends, but prefers a quieter environment without too much noise and chaos. Once he gets comfortable with someone, he becomes a loyal companion and is very affectionate.Tank is looking for a patient and understanding family who will continue to help him build his confidence and social skills. He would do well in a home with adults only, as he can be easily overwhelmed by loud noises or sudden movements.However, it's important to note that Tank can be food possessive. This means that he may become protective of his food, toys, or treats around other dogs or humans. Tank's new family will need to be patient, understanding, and willing to work with him to manage his food aggression. With patience and consistent training, Tank's food possessiveness can be managed and he can become a well-adjusted, happy family member.Quirks: Tank will give you the BEST eye contact if you have a treat.Tank is a handsome boy with a big heart who deserves a loving home where he can continue to grow and thrive.
