My name is Beth and I'm an 8 year old Black Lab mix. I woke up one morning and only had one eye, talk about a nightmare! I can't explain how this happened but with my own brand of humor suggested I put a patch on it and go as a pirate. Seriously, here's my story. I was dumped off by my owner along with my 5 puppies. What kind of person would do this to me and my family? Apparently I was a good mom and I am 8 yrs. old for crying out loud. I deserve a medal for this bravery. Now all of my puppies were adopted and now it's my turn. I'd like to have a crack at being part of a family that I can call my own. I'm good with older kids but not sure about little kids. I don't have experience with them or cats. I might have to be cat tested but I'm sure this would not turn out well..plus I prefer to be the only dog. Look, I am a single mom who had all of those pups and I was dumped off!! That sounds like a trifecta in horse racing lingo. I'm a great cuddler with my humans but cuddling with other dogs is what partially got me in trouble in the first place. I love the water and running in the yard. So if you think I sound appealing to you and your family please check me out further. I would be all too happy to tell you more about myself through my interpreter.
