FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED:Say hello to Dante! He is a beautiful, 1-year-old, 56 lb Doberman who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA to find a better life. We are not sure of his past life, but he came to us very underweight and covered in ticks. We are working to get him back to a healthy weight. Dante is a very sweet boy who loves to go for walks but can put hard on the leash. He will need some work on his overall obedience skills. He does know some basic commands. He is very treat motivated which is great for training. He is very interested in squeaky toys and may have some prey drive so we are recommending a home without cats or other small animals for now. He would love a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run and play. He has done well with other dogs in our care and would do great with another dog in the home but could do fine as an only dog as well. Dante is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.Adoption processInterested in adopting one of our rescue dogs? Any and all application information is private and will not be shared outside of our organization with ANY other party. After a decision is made on a dog, all applicant and adopter personal information will be disposed of by shredding. We do not retain any application information past adoption in an effort to preserve the security and privacy of applicants. Vaccination, microchip and medical records of adopted and current dogs can be accessed under the dogs name and month of adoption.
