We bought Ella from a Mini-Australian shepherd breeder when she was 10 weeks old in 2017. She'll be 6 years old in October.When we brought her into our home my kids were 11, 13, 15, and 17. Ella was Kennel trained as a puppy and my daughter took charge of teaching Ella tricks. Ella can do some really fun tricks and it's been one of the highlights of our relationship with her. She is affectionate and has had professional training. Ella has had issues with nipping at people when they get in her face since she was 2. We don't feel confident with her around young children.To understand why she might be nipping. We had the vet do a physical and he thinks her behavior problems are probably from the pain that she may be experiencing from arthritis in her 2 front legs.Ella is a joy to our family but we worry about her temperament around grandkids. She loves her people and loves to do tricks. She's affectionate and playful. A loving home is our hope.
