Adopt Kody a Black - with Brown, Red, Golden, Orange or Chestnut German Shepherd

Kody is 5 years old, 95 lbs, lean, tall cuddle bug. We got him as a foster at 8 weeks old, knowing German Shepherds require more love and attention to be their best selves. For many years we could give him the attention, training, and journeys that made him a great dog! We now have a 2 1/2 year old, a 3 month old, and are starting med school. We know he could have a better life. He's good with kids though he is scary as he barks hello. He has a voice but befriends quickly once greeted. Hes rsponsive and kniws basic commands and is really affectionate! Some typical shephard anxiety but way more tolerant than most for handling, lifting, messing with. Most of his life has been off leash in Montana. Longer hikes now seem to take their toll on him (4+ miles), hips seem good and looked great on radiology, maybe out of shape? The fee makes sure owners are fincially stable and will have the means to support possible needs over the years. We are sad to let him go but know it's best for him!
