Sadly this sweet innocent puppy was a victim of neglect and irresponsibility. However, this has not brought down his spirit one bit! Pongo’s eye was scratched by a litter mate, and regrettably this injury was ignored by the breeder. Eventually the eye became badly infected. Rather than having the damaged eye removed as was recommended, the breeder could not be bothered and instead left Pongo to be euthanized. Matchdog is so relieved and thankful that we were able to save him from this terrible fate. Having only one eye has not kept Pongo from being a happy, playful puppy who adores everyone he meets. It also won’t keep him from quickly and seamlessly adapting to new environments and people, which he has already done so well with. This courageous pup is a sweet soul who is guaranteed to give his furever family endless happiness and pure joy! Pongo is hoping to find the right folks who will shower him with love and provide the safe, caring home that he deserves.
