Meet Bonnie. I was introduced to Bonnie through a wonderful local rescue. I own/operate a local training company and was hired to collect Bonnie and train her. When I arrived to pick her up she was in rough shape-chained to the front porch emaciated and clearly not well taken care of. She was surrendered to the rescue and I brought her right in for training. She is approx. 2 years old and very sweet. She had some reactivity issues to work through and training is something to a degree if you don't use it you lose it. She takes a minute to warm up to strangers and can still sometimes bark/react so I think she'd be best suited either to an experienced adopter or someone willing to learn how to manage her properly. She is a wonderful dog but does need a certain level of structure to thrive-crate when leaving home, walk in a heel without pulling etc. I have a soft spot for her and agreed to foster her until a suitable home is found-ideally somewhere quiet where she's the only dog.
