Nova and I met when she was 2 at a rescue organization in Chicago. She has come such a long way since that first day. She is a confident, playful, loving companion who is crated-trained and housetrained. She did well at her foster home which had other dogs and cats. Now 3.5 years old and ~48 lbs, she enjoys playing fetch, going on long walks/runs/hikes, going to the dog park (loves other dogs), practicing commands for treats, and greeting you when you come home. She free-roams around my apartment for up to 8 hours at a time. While she does not like thunderstorms or puddles, she loves people. Nova will thrive in her new home with a couple or family who has enough time and space to give her the attention and exercise she deserves. Ideally, she gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation with folks who are active and/or work from home with a yard. She would make an excellent family dog to families with school-age children as she loves attention. Adoption Fee Negotiable
