Tigris with the vivid green eyes is a 9 or 10 year old spayed female tortie tabby. She was rescued as a feral kitten from the backyard shed. She was very young (3 or 4 weeks old) and adapted/socialized well. She loves being where the humans are. Teen slumber parties were a favorite hangout where Tigris would find an elevated spot to observe the goings on. She doesn't appreciate being picked up or held, but once she has warmed up to you she loves to curl up on your lap or beside you to nap. She loves pets under her chin, jaw, nape of the neck, her back, etc. She got along fine with dogs. Tigris vocalizes loudly when she "catches" her stuffed toys and declares them a tribute.Loaf is a 5 year old neutered male gray tabby, a rescue from the front yard. He was a kitten (8 - 10 weeks old) and very friendly. Loaf loves to cuddle in bed at night and migrates from room to room quietly through the night. He is more timid than Tigris, likes things a bit quieter, and sometimes will hang out in a bedroom when folks enter the house. He comes out when things quiet down. He loves rubbie dubbies under his chin, jaw, nape of the neck, etc. He also loves to be groomed with a comb. Loaf will accept being picked up and held (belly-to-belly is his comfort zone), and he likes a shoulder ride. He got his name, Loaf, because he just melts into you when being held.Both cats will check in from time to time throughout the day for pets and rubbie dubbies before, or between, nap time. They are indoor only cats, a bit overweight; their teeth are in good shape, they see the vet regularly, have all their claws, are fully vaccinated, and are in good health. They are both chipped as well.Tigris and Loaf are loved dearly, but their family has had some recent changes that prevent them from being able to keep them.
