So much cuteness in one little package....thats our Toby! This little guy is Toby who is an 8 year old, 10lb male ShihTzu/Lhasa Apso mix. He was rescued off the streets of a very dangerous part of Tijuana where he was dumped and surviving on his own. An independent rescuer out there who saves dogs off the streets, found him and asked if we could take him into our rescue, which we obviously said yes! Toby is pretty mellow little pup with little spurts of energy here and there. He would do best in an adult only, non chaotic home where the owners are home most of the day and not gone long hours. He is a dog that could be your one and only or could go into a home with another small and calm dog. He is great in the car and when taken out and about. He has the perfect manners! Toby does have luxating patellas in both back legs and is on a daily prescription glucosamine which must be continued the rest of his life. He can go on short walks, but nothing too long and no hikes. He would be best in a home without stairs per his vet and does need a doggy ramp for the couch. Toby is such a cute little guy in person and gets a lot of attention wherever he goes! If you like small, calm little dogs....Toby is the one for you(! Toby is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. We only adopt in the Greater Los Angeles Areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required.
