Frosting was let go into the woods behind his family's home and according to Citrus County Animal Control he came back to them with a compound fracture of his right hind leg. Luckily for him we had space to take him and had him evaluated and treated by an exotic vet who advised his leg could not be saved. This little boy is the sweetest and nicest bunny and he is adjusting to being a 3 legged bunny as sadly we had to have that leg amputated. If you are looking for a beautiful, sweet and loving boy, here he is. ##1733411##Adoption processAn adoption application is required and GRR screens all adopting families prior to adoption approval. Individual rabbits have an adoption fee of $100.00, and bonded pairs have a fee of $180.00.[Adoption fees cover the spay/neuter surgery, micro-chip, and vaccines performed prior to adoption.]Shelter locationMost of our rabbits are in the loving care of foster families, so meetings to view the rabbits can be scheduled by phone or email.GRR is also found every Sunday of the month at the Petsmart located on Archer Road in Gainesville, FL.
