Hello Everybody! My name is Roly Poly... I must have been a chunky little guy when I was a baby! Isn`t my one blue eye, one brown eye really cool? I am eight years old and weigh 74 pounds or Roly Poly cuteness! I`m really a playful guy, some have even described me as puppy like, because for an older guy I do have a lot of energy and LOVES to play. I also love affection and will always ask for more! I also love to play with my toys.. just missing my forever person to play with me! Could that be you? I also know sit and can`t wait to show you! I do have to be in a home where I`m the only animal, and It`s unsure how I behave around kids. A slow introduction is going to set everyone up for success. It`s hard to meet new people and pets quickly after leaving the shelter. I might need some time in my new home to decompress and process my new surroundings before meeting the whole gang. That`s ok though because IACS offers a 14 day cuddle before you commit program to ensure I am the best fit for you and your home. We`ll have pleanty of time to get to know everyone! *Please apply on our website at indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet. *Click on the adoption application link, enter your information, and click submit. You can include multiple pets that you are interested in on one application. *Once you have submitted your adoption application, please visit the shelter to speak with one of our Adoption Counselors, who will assist you with meeting some of our animals. *We offer a Cuddle before you Commit program where you can foster an animal for 2 weeks, slowly introduce it to the rest of your animals and family, and then finalize your decision.
