Hi there, my name is Rocco. They call me Big Roc. I am not sure why though. I am a lap dog. I was told that my original owners dumped me in a strange neighborhood. A nice lady rescued me from some children who were throwing rocks at me. The wonderful care team has been working on me with my manners. I am still very puppy like and with some work and a lot of treats. I can be the very best boy. I have great potential and I am treat motivated. I love to play with other dogs but I wasn't socialized properly with them and I can be a bit rough. I need a canine friend that will correct me, teach me and be patient with me, while I learn acceptable dog behavior. Any children in the home should be older due to my rough and tough play-style. I would do best with an active family who will wear me out. Keeping me mentally and physically stimulated is the key to my success. I really want to love everyone and for everyone to love me right back. If you are looking for a big, fun, silly and sweet guy, that is me, Rocco. I will be waiting. PS, please don't make me wait too long.
