Notes From Foster : Athena is a one-of-a-kind special girl looking for her forever family! She is fun-loving, active, goofy, and full of personality. Athena loves all furry creatures and humans both big & small! She will need a family who will be patient with her as she builds trust and confidence with her new humans and new surroundings. I truly believe Athena had little to no interaction with people in the earlier years of her life. She gets spooked easily by little things such as a sneeze or sudden movement. She will retreat a few feet away, then look over to see what's going on. You can tell that she is curious, but skeptical, of all the things people do. She is slowly figuring it out and has already made great progress. She may regress a little bit when moving to a new home so please be patient with her! I promise she will come around to you and when she does, she is SO lovely.
