Blue is a 1 - 2 year old Heeler/Border Collie mix that was surrender to the shelter when his family could no longer care for him. Blue weighs around 35 - 40 pounds. He is a sweet boy that loves to go outside, and explore. Blue takes a bit to warm up to new people, but once he does warm up to someone he is their best friend. He has been keeping a clean kennel here at the shelter, so he seems to mostly potty trained, and he walks well on leash. Blue would love to find a home that can spend time teaching him commands, and socializing him. We haven't introduced him to other animals yet here at the shelter, but a meet, and greet with current pets in the home can be done with an approved application.Blue's adoption fee is $200, and this covers his neuter, vaccinations, heartworm test, microchip, and flea, tick, and heartworm prevention while in our care.
