I haven’t seen him around cats but would bet he’d warm up quickly to one.•My foster dog is: crate trained and will happily go in the crate himself for bedtime as long as he gets a few minutes of cuddles before He is pretty much house trained, and relies on his schedule and will tell you when he needs to go out by sniffing around the door.•Energy Level: 7. Overall he’s pretty calm. He loves to sit on the couch and cuddle but won’t turn down an opportunity for fetch or playtime.• Barker? Or Quiet pup?: He is a quiet pup unless he is playing. Sometimes he barks at his toys when they fall of the couch •Walking Manners: We are working on walking, although he started at a pretty good place. He does pull sometimes when he gets excited, but most of the time stays by my side and stops when I stop.•Appetite: He currently eats 3x a day and has never been shy to eat.•Does the following: He is timid when first meeting people but warms up quickly. Can be nervous around men, but we are working on that with treats/positive associations. Not all men all the time, but a few times a week he will see a man who he deems suspicious and bark. Most of the time the man is willing to stop and pet him and we leave feeling more confident. Otherwise, everyone is his friend. No separation anxiety and is calm in the car.•Favorite things: fetch, cuddling, trying new food while I cook, other dogs, kids, and being near his people at all times.•Commands: He knows sit and Lay downHe would do best in a home with strong leadership that will help build his confidence in a positive way.He is eager to please and rarely needs more than “ah ah” (the sound I make instead of “no”) to correct behavior.ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract.
