Dimple is a shy girl that was not socialized by her previous owner. She is very timid around new people, but with time she has become much friendlier with staff and volunteers the longer she has known them. She will need someone that has patience to help increase her confidence. She would do best in a home with older children that understand to give her space and respect her boundaries. She walks okay on a leash, but really only to get back and forth from her inside kennel to her outside kennel. Her house skills are unknown as she has never been fostered, but she is most likely not potty trained. She will go into a crate, and usually does very well as long as she has pottied beforehand. Dimple has done well with her siblings, but does show reactivity through a fence towards newer dogs, so a meet and greet is highly recommended to ensure she does well with other animals. She can sometimes act crazy through a fence because she wants people to interact with her, but instead it makes people not want to interact with her. Dimple is destructive when left alone so she should be crated when you leave the house. Dimple has received her DHPP and Bordetella, is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention. She is due for her rabies vaccination.
