Peggy is an adorable Blue Heeler Cattle Dog with boundless energy and an affectionate heart. Since joining ALIVE Rescue earlier this month, Peggy's playful nature has added joy to each day while she has been in foster care. Peggy's daily routine revolves around her lively spirit. She usually tucks in around 10 p.m., waking up at 7:30 a.m. Although she occasionally stirs during the night, her playful interruptions are short-lived as she soon returns to her dreams. Throughout the day, Peggy's high energy level is evident, punctuated by playful bursts and intermittent naps. When not in her crate, Peggy thrives on companionship, displaying a strong bond with her human companions. She is undergoing potty training, responding well to positive reinforcement and treats. Peggy's sociability extends to other dogs; she has interacted successfully with other dogs that come over to her foster home, engaging in playful sessions. During walks, Peggy's curiosity shines through, although street noise can make her apprehensive. She enjoys short walks twice a day, favoring squeaky toys and spirited games of tug of war. Peggy's endearing qualities include her sweet nature, constant desire to be close, and her love for cuddles and tummy rubs. In Peggy's ideal home, a playmate would suit her energy levels, and a serene neighborhood would offer comfort for her noise sensitivity. Her loving disposition and playful spirit make her a wonderful addition to any family ready to provide care and companionship.
