Piper was a foster in June 2022, I fell in love with her and decided to keep her. She's been around pigs, chickens, ducks, goats, cat, and other dogs since the beginning. I have a chronic medical condition and one of the things I taught Piper was to do deep pressure, where she lays on me to help ease pain/anxiety. We have also been working on her handing me things I drop. In March my sister's dog (Charlie) got injured (not animal related) and Charlie has become highly reactive, after working with a trainer it became evident that Charlie and Piper need to be separated. While Piper has a full yard, and my room, she is entirely too active for such a small space and it isn't fair to her. She needs active people, and a home where she isn't stuck in a room a lot. She loves people and kids, and likes to lick you and cuddle. She is harness trained, and has almost no issue with the car. It kills me to have to rehome her, but I can't have her hurt.
