Hello, my name is Moxie, and I am a medium to large mixed breed dog. I am a beautiful girl with a nice soft coat and lovely eyes to match! I am likely around one and a half years old, and I weigh about fifty-five pounds. I came to Heartland as a stray so the staff here are still learning about me. As we get to know each other they have found that I like to snuggle, and I enjoy working with my people. I was a little reserved at first, it took me a minute to know everyone here, but once I warm up, I know I have nothing to worry about. I like to spend time in the yard with my people and I think that I would make a great walking buddy. I have met a few dogs here at Heartland and I think they are ok. I get really excited at first, but I settle quickly, then I'm ready to say hi. I think I would do well in a calmer home where I can adjust to my people at my own pace. Which won't take me too long, but I'm not a party girl. I do like to play when I'm comfortable and staff here feel like I will be a great couch potato as long as I get a little exercise daily.
