Introducing the whimsical WINSTON! 🌈☀️ Winston is a 1.5-year-old Spaniel/Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix who is fully grown at about 38 lbs. Winston was rescued from Myrtle Beach, SC where he was found living as a stray, forced to fend for himself and find his own food. Since being rescued, Winston has realized what a great life he can have and has loved all of the TLC he has received. Winston has a ton of wonderful energy and would need a fenced-in backyard at home. In his foster's fenced-in yard he loves to run around and play with all kinds of toys. Not only would he love to play with toys, but he also loves to play with other dogs. He enjoys being the leader of the pack but also being a playful goofball. Winston is too eager to play with cats and for that reason, he should not go to a home with any present. He would also do best in a home with older children (or those with prior dog experience) who are big enough to romp around with him. Winston is working diligently on his leash, crate, and house training skills. He enjoys treats and learning new skills as he is extremely smart. Winston would love for his forever family to have a large fenced-in yard where he can run around and stretch his long athletic legs.
