8/23/2023George II is an owner surrender looking for a new home.Hi! My name is George II! I’m a 5-6 year old handsome flashy brindle boy that is an owner surrender due to one of my owners passing away and the other unable to care for my needs any longer. I am said to be friendly, smart, and affectionate. I am dog friendly, but I cannot be around other male dogs because I do not get along with them. It is said that I am kid friendly, although I do not live with any, and that I love cats! I am house trained and crate trained! At night I sleep on a dog bed in a bedroom and when I must be left alone I do fine as long as I am able to be let out to use the bathroom 3x per day. When I hear loud noises I do get nervous. When outside I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car and cuddling! My current owner says prior to being taken in by them I had a traumatic past but them and I have put in work and overcome it!
