* We've got a brainiac Border Collie mix on our hands* Too smart for his own good* Very well trained and knows his commands (sit, down, come, stay, heel, and shake)* Is a huge fan of food and snacks- can be a little grabby with his treats* Will require being fed separately in his own space away from other animals and children* Loves zooming around in our fenced play yards and didn't seem to be an over the top herder* Excellent social skills with other dogs, able to adapt and get along with several temperaments* Will need an adopter that is cautious of treats and bones (could be a problem if not monitored)* Curious and tolerant of cats, but would need a very slow introduction* Requires a home with children ages 10+* Border Collie or herding dog experience preferredDexterBorder Collie mixMaleDOB: 8/23/2022Weight: 47 lbs.Heartworm NegativeDexter's adoption fee is $100 and includes his neuter, vaccinations, deworming, microchip, heartworm testing, and a free wellness exam.
