Todays #ImAnUnderDog spotlight goes to Coco, who is still persevering at the shelter. Coco arrived to the shelter on 7/11/2022 with his former #Bestie Diamond after their owner was evicted and abandoned both of them on the property. When the landlord arrived he found Coco & Diamond all alone by themselves 🙁 The landlord was kind enough to care for them for a few days in hopes the owner came back for them, but after several days of their former owner not responding to calls or emails he had no choice but to inform the shelter of their situation. After being held as abandoned animals they were both made available for adoption. Coco's friend Diamond was becoming very depressed at the shelter and was adopted by someone looking to add a senior female to their pack, but was not able to take in Coco due to already having several other dogs in the home :| So now Coco sits patiently waiting for his future in a home and 2nd chance at life to come to fruition. Coco has always been a volunteer favorite, even more so now that his BFF is no longer his neighbor at the shelter and yearning for interactions with people. Coco has done well with other low-energy dogs his own size, but has shown the be over excited with small dogs. HI!
