Cookie came to us from Victoria Animal Control after being hit by a car. She was unable to stand and was in severe pain. Luckily, she found a foster home where she was able to heal and turn into her sweet self. Cookie is a little skittish at first but is very sweet once she’s settled. Because she’s sensitive and shy, we think she’d do best in a quiet home as the only dog. April 22, 2024, 11:53 pmAdoption processAll applicants complete an application and are interviewed. We then complete all references and do a home visit. Permitting approval, we schedule a time to meet the pet(s) the applicant is interested in. Once a match has been found, we complete adoption contracts and adoption donation. We reserve the right to deny applicants for a particular animal if we feel it is not a good fit. We will suggest an animal that better matches the adopter's needs.Shelter locationAll of our animals are in local foster homes, we schedule private appointments for families to meet one on one with the pets they are interested in!
