Ginger cat alert - sweet, spicy, silly and sociable. Q*bert is an affectionate guy and LOVES attention. He's not shy about demanding it either and can be quite vocal with his humans. Q*bert, who's about 3 years old, was found in a quiet neighborhood where he was being fed by the residents. Originally thought to be feral, he was slated for TNR, but after trapping this sweet kitty, we realized he definitely had a family once but was abandoned. We believe he should be spending his days indoors with a person/people who would shower him with the attention he needs instead of fighting with the neighborhood cats, dogs, and wildlife for his next meal. His foster family says he enjoys getting head scratches and responds with a nose nudge or a thankful kiss on the hand or arm. This boy is a good size too, and perfect for filling laps and giving hugs! We think with a quick adjustment period, he could happily join a home with another cat, however, his reaction around dogs has not gone well and may not be as successful. Q*bert has spent a long time in fight or flight mode and is looking for a patient, new home that can help him feel comfortable, safe, wanted and loved.
