This litter was born to Dolly, the short-haired daughter of our Maine Coonish rescue. She has had 6 babies: three are polydactyl, three are normal-toed. The 3 polydactyls are: Agave, Buttercup, and Cosmos. Agage is a black boy with front mitten paws and normal back paws. Agave's earliest signs of personality are laid-back and trusting. Buttercup is a tuxedo girl with huge, nearly double-paw front feet (4 toes + 3 toes per foot) and normal back feet. Buttercup's early personality is responsive to humans and wanted to be as close to my face as she can. Cosmos is a tuxedo boy, also with huge, nearly double-paw front feet (4 toes + 2 toes + extra claw per foot) and normal back feet. Cosmos' early personality is that of an adventurer - always trying to find out what is beyond the barrier. ---------------------The 3 normals are: Dandylion, Edelweiss, Foxglove. Dandylion's adorably fluffy medium-long tiger fur inspired his name and the impetus to name his siblings after flowering plants. He is laid-back. Edelweiss (the flower sung about in Sound of Music) is a tuxedo girl. Like her sister Buttercup, she is always trying to climb closer to my face for attention. Foxglove is a black boy who is just happy to be in the midst of everything. ------‐----------- Reservations are welcome. If you choose a polydactyl kitten, a $100 fully-refundable reservation fee is required to hold your polydactyl (by Paypal or credit card). The full price of a poly is $400. The sales of our Polydactyl babies are a major source of funding for our private cat sanctuary, and 100% of their sale price is used to care for the less fortunate cats we take in. Any "normal" siblings will be available for free-will donations to our sanctuary (donations average $40), and do not require a reservation fee. Note: "normal" siblings do not carry the Polydactyl gene, and thus cannot have Polydactyl babies.-----------------------Please be aware of Lonely Kitten Syndrome. It’s as rough on the humans as it is on the kitten! If you do not have another kitten/cat, please read up on this syndrome and be fully informed before adopting a Lonely Only. We strongly encourage adoptive families to adopt 2+ kittens if they do not have any other cats. It’s a sanity-saver (and so much fun) for all involved.
