My next door neighbor passed last week. She had an approximately 4 year old pitbull. We have temporarily taken the dog, but we already have 2 dogs and 2 cats. We were trying to make this work, but it is causing a lot of stress and anxiety on my existing pets, as well as her. She keeps hopping the fence trying to go home, not understanding that her mother is gone. She is very sweet and small for the breed. I don’t believe she has ever been to the vet. I am taking her on Saturday 8/26 to get her vaccines, and on September 14th to get spayed. I am looking to find her a new home, that is not next door to her old one, where she can start fresh and be loved like she deserves. She gets along with my dogs ok, and would most likely get along with other dogs after proper introductions. She chases my cats, but not in a vicious way, more to play, but they want nothing to do with it. We are working on that. She is good on a leash and potty trained. She will be a great pet for the right home!
