Recently adopted from the SPCA to give a companion to our existing cat. After two months we have accepted that our home is not a good fit. In that time she has not adjusted to our existing cat. Nyx is a sweet human loving girl that is easily overwhelmed. She needs to be the only cat in a dog free home with patient and understanding owners. She does not know how to express emotion well and likes to nip at people and has an easily triggered fight or flight response. Despite that, she loves being held and snuggled. She is not shy of new humans and quickly wants to be friends with everyone, including the vet. Quickly and easily adjusts to new spaces and begins exploring. Has lots of energy and may do well as an indoor only pet with lots of toys, things to explore, and/or attention. Potentially would be a good fit for an indoor/outdoor pet as well. Extremely food and treat motivated and not picky about either.
