Pebbles Barc Shepherd (Unknown Type) Puppy Female

Location:
Bellingham, WA
Description:

Pebbles will catch your attention immediately. She has one dark eye and one bright blue eye, and it is so very striking. Between her bright eyes and beautiful markings (peep those black ears outlined in brown, or the perfect white stripe on her forehead), you are sure to be entranced by this little girl. Pebbles has the classic tricolour markings of a shiny black body with tan and white accents – her cheeks, eyebrows, and legs are mostly tan, and she has white boots, chin, and chest. She has the tiniest bit of pink on her nose; it’s mostly black. This gorgeous girl is truly striking, and sure to draw lots of compliments. Pebbles is smaller than her siblings, but may be just a few pounds heavier. You definitely feel a pleasing sense of chunkiness when you lift her up to snuggle her close. We challenge you to resist rubbing that round belly of hers – it’s irresistible when she rolls over and begs for attention! Despite being the smallest of her litter, Pebbles is undoubtedly the boss, and keeps her brother and sister in line. She is a happy, perky, and inquisitive girl – she will want to know what you are doing at all times, if only so that she can tag alongside you or take a quick snooze on your lap. Pebbles is very much the classic playful puppy and she will make you smile with all her puppy antics. She loves to roll, jump, nibble, and play with her siblings and would do well in a house with other dogs, or as the sole star of your attention. Pebbles and her siblings adore chew toys and stuffies, and would enjoy having a variety to choose from. This litter and their mom were rescued from the City of Houston’s BARC Animal Shelter, which is chronically over capacity. Pebbles is currently just 5 weeks old and about 15 pounds, but we guess she will be larger based on the size of her paws (though not as large as her siblings). We think she may be a Shepherd mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one of the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Pebbles is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
