Jack Russell Terrier Mix Dog for Adoption in Mooresville, North Carolina, 28117 USNickname: Rosie Posted Breed: Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed. Rosie is a sweet little bundle of energy. She loves attention and welcomes all the belly rubs and love she can get. She will be your little shadow. Rosie was very underweight when she was surrendered, but her Foster Mom got her up to healthy weight of 9 pounds. Rosie does have Lyme disease and is on medication for about 2 more weeks. She limps when she walks & runs, but she is still fast. Vet said her hind leg may have been broken and didn't heal correctly. She loves to chase squirrels. She does require a fenced in yard as she is an escape artist through the smallest of holes. She is not leash trained, but we are working on that. She is mostly house broken but she has had a couple accidents inside. She is not crate trained and really doesn't like being in a crate. Good with older children, not toddlers. She is very active. Would do well with another dog her size to play with. Rosie is a little love bug and looking to please. She will make a wonderful addition to a loving home! The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
