Brucie came to us from Montgomery County near Dayton, Ohio. He was rescued from a hoarding case and has had a pretty rough start to life. He was very fearful and skiddish upon coming to our facility, but he has warmed up to our staff and volunteers very well. Brucie would do well in a quiet home, as he will need time to settle in. He startles easily and will need lots of patience from his owner. Brucie would do well in a home with another quiet mellow dog, that would match his energy level. Older kids only. We are unsure of how he would do living in a home with cats, but that can be tested upon request. Brucie is about 55 pounds. Any potential housemate is required to come for a meet and greet to ensure that it is a good fit. All resident animals must be UTD on annual vaccines as well as spayed/neutered.
