Prince is a 6-year-old gorgeous boy with blue eyes and soft luxurious fur. He is a little timid at first sight, but very affectionate within a short time after meeting a friendly new person. Prince was surrendered to the shelter when his owner moved and could not take him with them. This change was hard on him. The first few weeks he was confused and scared, hiding and then desperate for attention not wanting to be alone and unsure of why his life had changed. Slowly our loving, patient volunteers reassured him, allowing him to relax and begin trusting his new surroundings and feeling confident again. Prince is very sweet and loves to be with people. He loves to be petted and will weave around you for affection. He has been an indoor cat all his life and has experience with children. He is timid around other cats, but not aggressive. He would like to be an only pet in his home, or be with another gentle, cat-friendly kitty.Prince would do great with a person who is patient and kind, who will dote on him and reassure him that he is loved and safe. Box 462, St. Johnsbury, VT 05819. The application and release of information forms are available at http://www.kingdomanimalshelter.com/available-cats.html or you can pick them up from the shelter during adoption hours.An adoption counselor will review your application, contact 1-2 personal references and contact your veterinarian for a reference. Additionally, if you are a renter, we will contact your landlord for permission to have an animal in the household.
