Mango is a 4yr 15lbs female mini rat terrier/toy fox terrier mix. She was rescued by a small rescue in Orlando Florida where I first adopted her in February 2020. She can be outgoing but in new situations can be easily scared/triggered. While she’s okay with some small dogs she doesn’t do well with larger dogs, cats, and playful small children. I’ve had to move for work several times and no longer live near my family that helped me care for her and she does not get along with my other dog. I think she would do well in a home that is in a quiet neighborhood with an adopter who has a lot of time to spend with her. She’s a very loving, sweet/silly little dog, but she can get pretty grumpy/feisty when her boundaries are pushed, difficult to take on long walks (she prefers short walks/private backyards) and doesn’t like her nails clipped or her ears touched or her teeth brushed so she may need help from a professional with teeth cleanings, and other grooming needs.
