Annie is a young, independent & curious rabbit. We're still learning her personality. Transferred from another small animal rescue, her young life started out born into an outside enclosure. She was living amongst an out of control population of rabbits. Thankfully she did have decent human interaction & once spayed is becoming a wonderful rabbit up for adoption. She's learning to eat a healthier diet. Annie came into rescue with a sister named Amber but the two sisters couldn't see eye to eye & were placed separately up for adoption. A home who can give her lots of attention & daily enrichment activities would be ideal. Annie, like her sister Amber, would do well as an only rabbit. Apply to meet this beauty today! May 11, 2024, 7:13 pmAdoption processWe vet check our potential adopters and give an extensive questionnaire as part of the application. We deny adoptions for any reason including previous history with animal abuse, no vet record for current pets, not planning to spay/neuter when of age, etc. We also provide education to the adopters who are unsure about rabbit care, handling, or diet and provide support even after the rabbit is rehomed. The adopters are required to have a 2 week foster period to ensure that the rabbit will work out for the family and the adoption contract states that the animals must be returned to our facility in the event of needing to rehome in the future. We also schedule the spay/neuter with the adopter before taking home the animal.Shelter locationBy appointment Wed thru Sat 10-4
